If UK doesn't put the money behind this program ASAP then..............
UL has recruited FL hard and I has hoping that they would end up in big 12 so as to loose the strong Florida connection.
Now we need to hope the super conferences happen, because I think the ACC will get picked apart in that process, probably leaving UL behind again.

Folks, we're getting ready to see some epic recruiting battles in the state of Florida between Charlie Strong and Coach Stoops. UL will now be incredibly more attractive to Florida kids knowing they will be playing against FSU and MIami each year.

Except when FSU leaves with Miami for the Big XII, UNC and UVA leave for the Big 10 and NC State and Va tech leave for the SEC.
The tv deal in the acc is terrible. Look at the attendance for their title game saturday night too.
The ACC by all accounts is about to become the old big east...

It's a sinking ship. Jurich is leading his troops up the Titanic's gangplank.
Before this decade is over, there will be four relevant football conferences and as it's shaping up, the ACC will not be one. Everybody else might as well be (and may end up being) Division II.

College Football Live Tweet Why did the ACC add UL? "Because of the way they so aggressive invested into, and built up their "marquee sports", most notibly Fooball"- ACC Commish John Swofford
The return on investing into, and prioritizing your football program can not be put into words. The return impacts the school, and the community more than any balance sheet is capable of showing.

The great thing is this. With our upgrades we will actually pass UofL pretty quickly.
UofL had a shot to go to the bcs with last weeks game at PJCS. They had 10,000 empty seats in a 50,000 seat stadium. NOw it isn't for me to talk about low attendance except i can promise, if UK is EVER playing for the shot to go the bcs then we will be PACKED.
If UofL struggles against acc competition as I think they might then they could have a TON of empty seats. If you can't pack your stadium when you're playing for a shot at the orange bowl then when can you?
UofL has also proven that it's as much or MORE about the coach than the facilities. Facilities do make a huge differenc though.
If we spend the 100-150 million as folks are saying, we'll be in line or better than uofL. With the sec, the big time coach etc... we'll blow past them. UofL isn't out of the woods, especially if the acc falls apart with FSU, Miami, UNC, NC State, UVA and VA Tech leaving.

Where in my post did I say that Texas and OU would be leaving the big XII. I am calling the big XII the big XVI because they're going to add more members.

Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
