Think Kentucky is doing just fine in basketball in the SEC. And as for football...congratulations ul went from the worst BCS conference to the second from the bottom.
And if you want my opinion, the ACC will be adding UCONN, Cinci and probably USF real soon. They will have to as FSU, Clemson, Miami, and Va Tech bounce. -

I don't see how or why this hurts UK? UofL to ACC is good for those two parties but I don't see it hurting UK. When it comes to football you think UofL will now have even more competition for recruits because of Miami, FSU, Florida, Georgia, and all other schools in the south. With the addition of Stoops and possibly Coley, UK would now be in the hunt for a few of these recruits. Probably not the 4-5 star recruits but a lot of the 3 star guys that are being picked over.
Oh and btw, the ACC may lose some schools already. SEC is looking to contact UNC and Duke as possible additions per sportingnews.com. The likelihood of this is low but how funny would it be to see L'Ville to attempt to leave the ACC in 6 years or so? The revolving door continues to spin!

The SEC has been after both Duke and UNC for 3 yrs now. And from what I am hearing down here in SC, they are ready to listen to the offer now.
The money is in football and with the addition of both teams it will help in the basketball tv money as well.
Both teams would also have more to offer to the highschool football players in NC.
It would be a win win for them.

I don't believe that. Card fans raved on and on about how the ACC was actually the bottom of the BCS conferences, even after WVU, Syracuse, and Pitt left the Big East.
I guess that's all different now that the University of Louisville has graciously deigned to save the floundering ACC with their radiant presence. I wonder how many years of tearful begging from the ACC were required before UL would consider the offer? No doubt that being in a crumbling conference and being the 5th school chosen to leave for another was all a part of Tom Jurich's master plan.
Congratulations UL. You are less valuable than WVU, 'Cuse, Pitt, and Rutgers. You were chosen to join the conference Maryland found inferior. But now that you have stabilized the entire conference, I'm confident that the SEC, B1G, and BXII will never look at any other school in that conference.

Outside looking in you guy look mad, jelious and scared all in one. It's sad that a topic about UL is more discussed than the lose you just took to seton hall. How about worry about building up that dumpster football team you have in a football dominated conference and pray the success of these one and dones goes on forever because if not you guy are more irrelevant than any other team in the FOOTBALL dominated sec. Good luck this season and keep spend your life everyday on kats paws hoping the ACC falls apart just because UofL is there now. I never get mad at your success bit anytime louisville gets it you guy boil and I love it. Good luck not trying to suck this year little brother we have the money facilities and and a BETTER BALANCED conference. I could go on but I'm done, shot back on this post amongst yourselves I'm off this sorry @ss board.

Im a grad student/grad assistant at tech and there were some mild, tempered thoughts about tech going to the SEC, IF FSU and Clemson bolted to the big XII, which is not happening. FSU, Clemson, Tech and NC state were the biggest opponents to UCONN and the biggest supporters of Louisville. FSU is happy, they now have a division foe that's going to a BCS game, now that they are satisfied, there are no reports of anyone going anywhere. UNC and UVA both went out of there way to confirm their loyalty to the ACC. So yea, those thoughts died.
