I seriously doubt it had an impact on the bracket selection. I believe that as soon as Ole Miss won yesterday they were already moved out of the last four in to a solid seed win or lose. The committee would not want to work on those scenarios with only two hours to go if Ole Miss was only in with a win.

Just listened to Greg Shaheen ... former selection committee member and expert analyst and consultant who's been on all the selection shows over the last couple of weeks ... and he stated that Ole Miss's conference tourney win did indeed affect the bracket selections for the tournament. Every time a bubble team or a team that would not otherwise get in wins one of the automatic bids from their conference tournament, an at-large bid is removed from the pool of remaining bids for the lock team that would have gotten the automatic bid with a conference tourney championship. (These are the teams that they call 'bid-stealers'.)
There are 31 automatic bids and 37 at-large invitations.
If Florida wins the conference tournament, they in effect get both an at-large bid and an automatic bid since they would have been in the tournament anyway. There are still 37 at-large bids available for remaining bubble teams to fight over after Florida takes the automatic bid.
If Ole Miss wins the conference tournament as either a bubble team or a team that wouldn't have gotten in, now they get the automatic bid and Florida who is a lock gets an at-large bid. Now, because Florida has taken an at-large bid that they wouldn't have taken with the automatic bid, there are only 36 at-large bids available for remaining bubble teams to fight over.
