I agree WCS looked really good the 1st half and showed some good things on offense and played really well on defense. Im a true believer when it comes to Wiltjer now, I had some doubts about how much he has improved from last year but I saw a lot of that improvement although it was the Blue/White game. He looks more confident and quicker with his feet, last year he looked at times he was moving in slow motion. Overall I was pleased with the freshmen especially with Noel/WCS blocking shots. We have a heck of an athlete in Goodwin. PS: I hardly noticed how Harrow played and thats not a good sign.

Honestly, I don't see how you don't start WCS.. IMO, he's a more skilled offensive player and better rebounder than Noel and is just about as good on the defensive end.. I could see a starting lineup of:
PG-Harrow SG-Goodwin SF-Poythress PF-Wiltjer C-Cauley-Stein
Off the bench:
Noel / Mays / Hood

Agreed about Mays quagmire. I think he's more than just a shooter also. He made a fe sweet passes. Hes just a pure basketball player.
I was excited about Hood also Cambell. I'm cautiously optimistic he can bring seething to the table this year.
I wonder if we won't see some zone out of this team especially if cal wants to go big at times.

Opening Tip: Cauley-Stein shines
