I don't think highly of myself at all, but it's clear you have picked out a couple of my post you didn't like, read more into them than I actually meant, and then use that to accuse me of trashing the team, and hating Joker, none of which is even true. One could say you must think pretty highly of yourself to be able to know the mind of someone else that you've never even met, based on what you’ve inferred from a couple of internet post?

All I want to do is talk about UK football because I love it. I don’t live in a fantasy world though like many on this site. I get mad when we look like a MAC team. I get mad when we get destroyed by our SEC bretheren. I’m not gonna pretend we are great when we are not. We aren’t great and haven’t been in my lifetime. That’s just the freakin reality! You talked about calling a duck a duck the other day, but then get mad if I shed a negative light on UK football when it’s true? Well which is it. Do you like honesty and truth or not. It seems to me like you are just looking to pick a fight most of the time, and already have your mind made up about me, regardless of what I say.

I may be strongly opinionated about the state of UK football, but I think I have the right to be after being a lifetime fan and long time season ticket holder. If you want to continue piggy backing my post and trying to insinuate that I meant something I did not, go for it, but don’t throw a little hissy-fit when I come back at you for it. I can forgive and forget and be cordial, and talk UK football, but if you continue to jump my case, I won’t back down. It’s funny, you accuse me of thinking highly of myself, but you are the one whos getting pissed at me for having a different opinion than you. Sounds like you may be a little full of yourself and your owbn opinions from where I’m standing.

by the way buddy, why do you think I have a picture of Joker under my user name? Would make a lot of sense if I hated Joker wouldn't it!

Oh and another thing Catmando. You just added the picture of Joker. Do you think we are all idiots? Come on! We can also talk about the thread you started about "I like to see you guys defend this" Then UK proceeds to blow Kent State OUT! Nuff said!!!!!!

He was never a d-coordinator. He was always "co-defensive" coordinator an actually never called the plays.

In terms of the substance of this argument, Footballcat65, you just have to learn that some folks on here are trying to find any reason possible to complain about our football program, barnhart etc... It's best to just ignore them. Catmandoo, I would recomend toning down the hyperbole and looking at things a bit more objectively instead of so emotionaly. Your post about the Kent state game proves the point. Sure we didn't get off to a great start but the game is longer than 10 minutes.

U know it's bad when u you puff out your chest for beating Kent St. Then go talking about how good a win it is and how bad we beat them.

If UK had a winning program I would be a lot more positive. As it is I don't see a lot to be optimistic about. Now if our offense plays as good in the sec as it has against the out of conference competition then we'll have something to build on. Unfortunately I don't get jacked up for beating a below average Mac team. That shows how far we've fallen when fans come out talking stuff about beating Kent St. Plus people are really concerned whether we can beat wku. We're in the sec we should never be worried about a sun belt team.

The fact that the mods continue to let catmandoo go on these rants is disturbing.

Please Lord, let Ark offer Strong a job!! I would rather play Strong once every four years instead of 1st game every year. Charlie Strong is a great coach, and a defensive genius. I think both Ark and Fla come calling after this year. Florida is lucky not to be 0-2..and will be exposed during SEC play. Beginning with UK..Im calling a 31-17 upset in the swamp. Fla's offense is poor to say the least. They have a couple key defenders out with serious injuries..and Bowling green played them tough for 3 QTR. Arkansas is a joke. Never should have been ranked 8th..or 38th..or even 48th. The hogs might beat Ole Miss..no way they win vs Miss St, Bama, LSU, or even a down Auburn. The Arkansas defense is poreous..and allowed UL-Monroes QB to pass for 400 plus yards. They will still score some points when tyler wilson returns..but not as much as thier d will allow. Ark will be lucky to get 4 wins this year.
Strong is the hottest name in coaching right now. He's an ace recruiter, he's young, black..and a players coach. Hes also perhaps the best defensive mind in the game...him, Bud Foster, and Kirby Smart are my picks for best defensive coaches in NCAA. With Strong gone from Lousiville..it will open the door for Joker to retake the Louisville area recruits..the most fertile bed of talent in our state year in year out. Lets hope its Arkansas..because id hate to see what Fla would do with Strong at the helm..especially now that Uk is young, building a team that in 2013/2014 has a real chance to make a move at the SEC east. Fla is on a downward spiral..Ga will be losing a ton of talent this year, as will USC, and Tenn will lose some, and more after next year.
