Easy to say when you know a commitment is in the near future. . . Him saying it means nothing unless he's willing to say who he heard it from and who committed to back it up. . . Otherwise what is the point of even mentioning it. . .

To get the info out there and get people to digging. There are plenty of posters who do the same thing on multiple boards and we thank them for it. I know a couple of people with sources that don't always mention names because they want to keep their sources. You throw stuff out that you shouldn't necessarily throw out you end up like Matt Jones and get fed only what you want to get out.

There's a reason the only stuff KSR gets anymore for the most part is the stuff that's already broke on the message boards.

I dont know if you took what I was trying to say the wrong way, or if I didnt do a very good job of saying it... The only point I was trying to make was that until it is verified by someone willing to attach their name to it, it is simply just a guess IMO... Like Greg said, there is a big difference between telling someone that you are going to commit and actually committing...
