Hells bells people you go up the road 70 miles and UL didn't even reprimand a basketball coach that knocked up a skank in a restaurant booth then paid for an abortion for her. He's gotten a raise and two extentions since then.
And to be truthful about the matter Arkansas wasn't gonna fire BP for what happened, they fired him because their AD jumped the gun and made a public announcement supporting BP and it made them look bad because he had lied. Even after that they were torn on the decision.
This isn't the 1950s anymore. This stuff doesn't stick to a person like it used to. Look around the sports landscape. Kobe and Roethlisberger survived and flourished after being accused of rape. Tiger is back playing golf, doing endorsements,, and nobody cares. Heck Ray Lewis is a damn hero in Baltimore and he killed a man.

He was fired because a. He hired his mistress thus exposing the university to a massive employment practice harrasment claim and then b. lied about it.
Doing a. Gets you fired just about 100%'of the time in the real world and it should.
B. gets you in deeper trouble. Petrino forced arky to fire him. Had he just Done one or the other he probably had a good shot at another job. But he has shown over and over in his career that he has no regard for anybody else but himself. That's not the type of coach any institution needs.
