Looks like the Big Blue Nation is catching the fever. Do you guys think Mitch will feel pressured to go after him, or will he ignore it and do his own thing. My opinion is that if Petrino is the #1 target, he needs to go hard after him before the season ends. If he waits until the season is over, I think our chances of landing him diminish greatly as other jobs open up.

If Bobby Petrino is our #1 target, at the moment a bowl appearance becomes impossible (7 losses) we need to go "all in". We need to have a package prepared that is so tempting that once BP sees it he will have to sit down to keep from falling over. Then we need to have the brass while he is still so shocked to close the deal during the season before other job openings occur.

Do any of you think that if he came here, he'd be here to stay?
Were any programs left in better shape than when he found them?
