Adam Zagoria reports that Kentucky is one of the schools showing serious interest in Mark Lyons from Xavier who avg 15 pts last year. Would be eligible immediately because he graduates this year but RS his freshman year. Could be a big pick up!

I don't remember the specifics, and I know both teams were jawin throughout the game, but I watvhed that brawl lots of times, and felt as though the Cincy guys instigated everything that occured. I don't condone the retaliation, but at the same time, kids have to take up for themselves. Ultimately, if Cal believes he will be valuable, I'll trust Cal, cause he's earned it.

Mixed emotions on this. A. Everybody deserves a second chance. B. If he earns his degree in 4 years from Xavier in 4 years its obvious the kid isn't an idiot. C. But he certainly said some really stupid stuff after the game with cincy. Bottom line? I trust cal.

It amuses me how UK fans can be forgiving to a player with a "past" when he's considering transferring to Kentucky. If that same player were going to Louisville or Tennessee, he'd be a "thug" or "loser"...ha...when that same player considers the Cats, they deserve a second chance.

i don't think we need a shoot first PG, and I am not thinking he will help with us win a NT next year. He isn't what we need, I don't think. He could help, no doubt. However, unless he is the key piece that will provide us with NT, I would rather get player that could provide more stability like....
Torian Graham, who could be part of UK for more than 1 year. He has athleticism already to be part of UK, probably lacks basketball fundamentals. Hopefully his school problem works out.
If that doesn't work. I rather have someone like Hood force to start playing and learning on the rope. Which would be helpful in 2013-14 season.
No big reason, just don't think it's as necessary as people make it out to be. I am already satisfied with this class, adding Bennet will be crucial and amazing. After that, we should be fine.
