Morgan's confidence was destroyed after an abysmal start by his WRs, OL and himself...
I still think he throws an OK deep ball and some nice sideline fades.
You put him out there in the Wildcat in red zone opportunities against the OOCs and see if he can build back some of that confidence.

The problem I have with putting Newton at another position is whose place is he going to take if he gets on the field? Is he a better TE than T.Robinson or Shields? I don't think so, not this quickly. Same at WR, is he better than D.Robinson, Collins, or either of the freshmen? That's not even counting his fellow seniors at WR.
I just don't see Morgan making the transition to a new position over the course of fall camp and being better than players who we already have there. Also the guys he would likely replace would be young players, and frankly I would rather give them the snaps and let them develop and get some experience for the future. JMO

QB may not be only option for Morgan Newton
