Yeah if he could win but then again he would not have the resources that he had at UT here at UK. He would need some young, hot shot recrutier to reach out to the kids because most of them were just babies when he won the NC back in '99 (if memory serves me correctly). I think if he could bring in a good OC and DC then he could have some success but it would be hard for me to cheer for a coach that once said that he hated the entire state of Kentucky (or something similar to that).

Yeah I would like Butch Jones, but I think I would like to have someone with SEC experience and who would be here for the long haul. If Fulmer I could not imagine him staying more than 4 years. I would like to see UK talk to Smart and gauge interest. Jones would be my next call, and then Petrino, then I would call Dykes and other mid major coaches. I would also hope whomever is given the position that they put a call into a great OC like Kingsbury at Texas A&M and get a young DC that would be an awesome recruiter. Only time will tell; I just would want to know something soon so the new coach can salvage a recruiting class for next year.

In all honesty, I wouldn't mind Fulmer. He knows how to coach and BUILD an SEC team. He will bring in a top notch staff full of coaches who can recruit their asses off, as well as teach the game of football. In addition, he'll also be able to schmooze the boosters into believing in the program, and get some more money coming into the program. Plus, he has connections all throughout the South. JMO.
