3 star ATH signee class of 2011... What ever happened to him? I remember he didn't qualify. Thought he went Juco route. His tape looked great. Fast playmaker dangerous in space. Should be ready to roll if he handled his biness. Chris? Josh? Matt?

Answer to my own question... Tarleton State Texans. Hope he ends up back in the bluegrass.

This. Major reach in the first place.
nah. Bubba was a legit d-1 talent. bubba's issue was that he didn't take school seriously til the second semester of his junior year and dug a massive hole for himself. He was one of the more explosive players in the state that year. He would fit nicely into the slot into our new offense. He just doesn't have the grades.

A major reach acedmically or talent? He was a 3 star prospect. I'm no college scout, but his film looks pretty impressive to me. Played both ways, multiple positions on offense and was a return man. Joker talked about him running the wildcat and filling the hole Cobb left. I agree hoptownukfan, he is D1 talent. Anyway, I was looking thru the roster / past signing classes and remembered how high the previous staff was on him. Hope this home state talent finds his way back to UK.
Quotes from Tarleton State Texans site.
Tandy, a 6-1, 200-pound wide receiver/kick returner transfers to Tarleton from Mississippi Junior College, where he did not play football. He is a native of Hopkinsville, Ky., and was a highly recruited athlete following his 2011 season at Christian County High School.
“Bubba has the ability to break a game open,” said Fowler. “He is a big-play threat not only as a wide receiver but also as a kick returner. Bubba was also a great defensive player in high school. We plan to use him on the offensive side of the ball.”
Tandy was named the Kentucky Class 5-A Player of the Year in 2011. His career totals include having 102 receptions for 1,615 yards and 14 touchdowns, to go along with nearly 1,000 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns on the ground. He returned six punts for touchdowns in his career, which includes scoring four of those punt returns in one game.
A multitalented athlete that can play on both sides of the ball, Tandy tallied four interceptions his senior season, returning one for a touchdown while leading his high school squad to the state finals for the second time.
