It seems we're handing these terms out like the government hands out money. For goodness sake there has been improvement, but let's give it a little before we start bestowing accolades of this magnitude out on any player. The Real Deals and the Best Evers earned their labels in big games and or against quality opponents over a period of time. We can be excited and a little judicious with our accolades at the same time.

Well, as far as QB's are concerned, UK hasn't had any heisman winners, or NFL stars, so I can understand people thinking Max could rival the best, but I also agree with the OP. The dude looked like he had potential last year, and has played well against UL and Kent State this year for goodness sake. We should give it a little time before we write his name in the ring of honor...oh, wait a minute...there is no ring of honor anymore?
