Calipari actually said he wasn't as pleased with Noel tonight as in the past few games. Go figure.
I can believe Cal said that because its called motivation. Noel played really well except for freethrow shooting. Cal did it to inspire Noel but the other players also. I think thats a part of his psychological player strategy. Noel was the beast player on the floor tonight and Cal wants him to be even better the next game time after time.
I don't think he was the best on the floor because Alex and Archie both played better tonight than Noel. Archie really needs Ryan Harrow to return asap because he needs to play off the ball and look to score instead of worrying about getting everyone else involved. He is a scoring machine and Harrow is a better point guard been playing the position his whole life so if Ryan can come back and be the player everyone here thought he was going to be this team will be scary come March. I said the other day we would lose like 4-5 games unless Harrow comes back focused and gets better everyday then we might see a year like Knight and Company had without the FF run. We might see Calipari's weakest team yet unless Ryan comes back ready to go. By the way Goodwin was head and shoulders the best player on the floor this evening, what I'm starting to wonder is what has happened to WCS he just struggles game after game. No way he's one and done right now and to get there he has to really get his act together and start to do the little things like defensive rebounding and scoring some.
