UK currently ranked #62 in recruiting and dead last in SEC. I think it's pretty clear that ranking is going to drop further because there will be some decommits soon. However, if UK moves promptly, there will enough time to secure a decent class by Feb.

Things certainly aren't great by any means, but that still sounds like sour grapes from a kid that was told, "Thanks, but no thanks," this week.

This guy doesn't really have room to talk. As bad as Kentucky has been this year, he would be buried on the depth chart. I'm glad Kentucky didn't waste a scholarship on him.

I think he's an athletic talent that is probably performing well at the JUCO level. I would have liked to have had him at UK.

I'm not sure how much God had to do with him having unsatisfactory grades and/or test scores out of high school, however. He transferred out of Ga. State to JUCO. If I were him, I would probably hold my tongue about my greatness until I actually achieved something.

Great point! I'd rather him not come anyway. As I said on here the other day and someone else pointed out in this thread, we have the 62nd rated recruiting class in the country. The next worse SEC school is like 39. I'm tired of hearing that we have all this "good young talent"! The talent level here sucks and is getting worse. We had the worst recruiting class in the SEC last year by over 20 spots again. Someone please tell me how our young players, who aren't as good as every other team in the SEC's young players, are going to be better than the other 13 teams when they become juniors? Are you really going to say that our coaching will be the reason? That would be a pretty funny response.

As far as I'm concerned, this kid can go fly a kite somewhere and take about 10 others with him. We aren't winning anything with this kind of talent level every year, especially when combined with the current coaches. Maybe some new coaches could get more out of them.

On a side note, our special teams coach should have been escorted off the sideline for that performance today. That may have been the worst display by a special teams unit for an entire game that I have ever witnessed. While we are at it, I'll thank God too, that I was able to watch the game from a suite inside CWS with my family and a Makers!

Yep, me too. Kid couldn't even crack the starting lineup of his own high school team. I'm sure he's improved, but I can't stand that sort of attitude.

We said Thanks, but we're gonna move on to some others.... didn't take him out of high school and he was upset, and now he's back on the offensive because we did the same thing. He was really excited that we were back on his radar around a couple weeks ago, and now he's on Twitter talking smack? Count me as thinking it's sour SOUR grapes that we've backed off again and is just looking to get some barbs in while it's easy and fashionable.

Two weeks ago MinteWonerland was mad that UK was interested in this kid and said that there is no way another BCS school would offer him. Now several schools have offered, and even Georiga is intersted.

Let me guess now you are mad that UK could not get on of his official visits?

LSA and UGA are not ever going to come close to offering Jones. The kid left highschool WITHOUT a D1 scholarship offer, thus went to JUCO. UK pulled his scholarship because he wasn't even cracking the rotation of his highschool team as a senior. Now, in a time of desperation, UK is calling him up. Sums up the current state of UK football
