  • I've been saying for days that there has to be something going on behind the scenes for this team to be playing this bad. There is way to much talent on this team for it not to blow out their first three opponents much less lose to one of them.

  • yeah he's out of the business, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have any contacts with the program anymore. i just thought it was weird for him to say "rub salt on the wound".

    His Dad, I believe, is a UF grad and donor.

    What makes you think there is a lot of talent on this team? Because Joker said so? He's also the one that said the Oline would be our strength. That worked out well, didn't it? This team is not talented. If you can't block, run, and catch, you're not very talented. Those are just a few of the things we don't do very well.

    That's how I interpreted it. Don't think he's saying "I'm coming to Lexington to expose bigger problems." He's saying there's going to be salt in the wound after Florida beats UK 45-3.

    There is way too much talent on this team not to blow those first 3 opponents out. Our O-Line (which has been the biggest issue thus far) has been one of the best in the SEC over the last few years, and last year performed quite admirably. There were also two All SEC candidates on this years line so I would call that talent. So that pretty much covers run and block. Catch I will give you, but every game there are a couple drops for just about every team and that's all that occurred against UL.

    Western Michigan and Navy absolutely destroyed our first two opponents, you really think there is more talent on those two teams??

    If your going to bitch, at least do so about the correct things.

    Where did I say a lot of talent? Did you even read my post? I said way to much talent not to blow out the first three opponents much less lose to one of them. And yes UK has way better talent than WKU, CMU and UL. Not even close!

    Yes UK has more talent than UL, WKU and CMU. But something is wrong? They better find out soon or we are looking at a 3-4 win season. Not good for the future of CJP

    I'm not so sure that we have that much more (if more at all) talent than UL right now. In theory we do in the upperclassmen, but I saw much more aggressive and athletic guys (who could also execute a play better) playing for UL than for UK on Saturday. We have them on size, but that's about it. Just being honest. We are not a very talented team right now, regardless of what Joker, et al. have said on signing day the last few years.

  • I agree that we do not have SEC talent but we would be the most talented team in either the Sunbelt or the MAC conference and I believe we have better talent than Louisville. While I am not close enough to the program to know what the problem is, something is keeping this team from playing to thier potential.

  • Curious theory of problems within the team, and it seems something is going on behind the scenes. What concerns me is the complete absence of emotion, excitement, intensity, etc. on the part of the players and the coaches.

    If a UK team is not ready to engage a Louisville team, there is no hope.

  • Rob G would be worth a look for position coach, or personal advisor to Joker and Co.
