Does anyone know how many scholarships remain for next year's basketball team?

It's dependent on whether Beckham and Polson are given scholarships for next season. Currently, they have 7 on scholarship not counting those two:
Hood
Harrow
Wiltjer
Poythress
Noel
Goodwin
Cauley-Stein

They both probably end up on scholly. We'll hopefully get two more guys. That would be a total of 11 scholly's used which would still give us room to bring in a transfer or for a different situation.

I think everyone is forgetting one scholarship, yes we lost seven players but everyone has forgot stacey poole jr open scholarship now. If polson and beckham stay on scholarship we have a total of 8 open scholarships to be taken. With the four commits in Archie Goodwin, Willie Cauley-Stein, Alex Poythress, and Nerlens Noel that leaves 4 scholarships.

9 of 13 should be occupied with the guys who had one last year. I suspect those walk-ons will be covered again this year.

It is hard to question a coach that just won a NC but here goes anyway. IMO Calipari needs to build more depth. IMO UK got away with playing only 7 players this year because Miller was basically a one man bench that could play all of the positions. If any of the top six had gone down to injury UK would have been in deep trouble.
I dont have a problem with the one and dones but believe either more one and dones needs to be recruited or some players that might stay a while brought in to build depth.
