A key figure charged in the L.A. County assessor's office probe says he gave cash and perks to USC football star Joe McKnight and basketball player Davon Jefferson while they were in school. Gifts could be a violation of NCAA rules.
As about as much as UNC did for academic fraud.
Like Public Enemy said ... 'can't truss it.'
Just close up shop at Miami and USC...cheating is just part of the culture. Both programs are a disgrace to college athletics.
Not likely and even if they do it will be a slap on the wrist. Had it not been for the out right depravity of the Penn State scandal, nothing would have been done there either. The NCAA is a total joke. They pick and choose who they will discipline and who they wont. They try to make examples out of the schools that will not hurt the national picture(example UK during Mumme), but will merely give a gentle slap to schools like UT, UNC, USC, Auburn, etc... It is a total farce.
schools need to create a new NCAA cause the current cluster sucks and has no legitimacy.
