Ummmm, if a coach is telling recruits not to come here because nearly every NBA team has a former UK player (at some point), then that coach is a terrible recruiter and we should send him a 'thank you' card for doing our recruiting for us. And one UK player jumping to the NBA does not necessarily equal another former UK player being fired. If MKG joins Wall at the Wizards or Cousins at the Kings, will Wall or Cousins be fired? Don't be silly. The only way a scenario like that arrives is if it's an older, non-producing player whose time has come. And even in that far-fetched, hypothetical instance, that is the choice of the GM, not Calipari. So, the answer to your question is: no. This is in no way, shape, or form "something other coaches could use against us in recruiting".

At the current rate Cal is going at, someday the entire NBA will be made up of UK players and in essence, every UK player he send to the NBA will put another UK out of work because there are only so many teams and so many spots.
Could other coaches say that Cal doesn't really care about his players?
This really worries me.
I'll hang up and listen.
