Spoke to DL coach Jimmy Brumbraugh at the game

I caught him, Stoops and Marrow walking recruits around at the game. Just took the time to thank him for coming on board. He and Marrow appear to be polished recruiters. Stoops was shaking a lot of hands today. Brumbraugh and Marrow were very busy and focused.
JMO, I think this staff will teach us a thing or 2 about how to play the game of big time college football.

Saw them as well. Got close enough to watch them with Eliot in action. Things are changing dramatically for this program. Dramatically.

Agree Maximus. Totally agree.
This staff already generating more positive buzz around our football program than I can remember in my 36 years. Elite level recruits already wanting to hear more from our staff. With Peveto on board..Brumbaugh and Marrow too..joining Stoops,Eliot,Brown,Scott, Schlarman...this staff has immeadiately become one of the better SEC staffs recruiting wise..id say top 5. We shall see..I didnt expect a whole lot for 2013..but boy..its sure looking like I was wrong (and they call me an optimist!!)
Id not be shocked to see 5 to 7 4 star kids join us..and a few 3 star kids that are better than lots of the 4 and 5 star recruits. Sean Paul..that kid is a SEC cb 4 sure..like him a lot more than any other cb's tape ive watched. Physical, fast..loves to decleat wr's and rb's.
I think we can be assured Brumbaugh will bring a couple of those stud DL's from East Miss CC..Lauren jackson and a couple of those athletic DE's would be a nice boost to Uk's efforts!!

I dont want to build this staff up just yet. Show me why we are spending so much cash on you with the better talent and play on the field. Sorry to sound so well Lexington herald leader lol. But I want to see UK win and win baby

Same here, as I was leaving game early yesterday for work I saw Lovell Peterson(spelling?) walking around the concessions in a UK shirt with Marrow and Eliot. Eliot hasn't taken a break since he's been hired and Marrow was working the phones. This staff is already and will continue to be relentless on the recruiting trail. Bout time.

We need a TE who can show some real production. For whatever reason, the ones we have on campus now have not. Will one of the other recruits from this weekend beat him to the punch?

I don't know but this kid will be an early enrollee wherever he goes. So, he will have this spring to start learning the system and could be ready this fall, IMO.

Impressive looking athlete. I found a combine video of Borden that I've posted. If you pause it at the beginning it has a sheet that shows how he graded out. 4.6 forty time, 7ft wingspan, 35 inch vertical. Graded out really high on all of the drills.
