Drennon is considering becoming a January enrollee, yes. Which makes him that much for of a desired target. I also felt a lot better before Texas entered the equation, but I think UK has a chance. I would say top two, top three. Hyde was really working him at the All-Star game from what I was told.

That's great news about Hyde being in his ear. Can't hurt at all. Those two together on the line would be very nice!
Josh, any word on if Hyde was in Bivens ear at all? I'm not holding my breath, but would be awfully nice if Hyde could help flip him. An up hill battle no doubt, but I'm an optimist!
And on the Bivens topic, any body have a clue what happened to the rumor of his brother playing here?

Great Thread! With UGA and UF being close to full, are there other recruits in these states that UK has offered and has a legitimate chance of signing? It seems as if the 25 committment SEC rule is helping the other lower rung SEC schools. Does anyone know if there are many other SEC schools that are in the same predicament as UK with not being able to sign a full class because of the 85 scholarship limit? With UK not being able to sign a full 25 this year, our overall ranking may be lower than others with more signed players even though the average of the stars of the players at other schools may be lower than the average stars of the players in our class. I am not trying to open up a "star" argument with this statement, because there are hits and misses in the star rankings, however, I would think there would be less 4 star flops than 2 star greats. There are just not too many Randall Cobb type 2 stars out there. Plus, it appears we do not have a good track record with 4 stars over the past few years. GO CATS!!!!!!

AS far as recruiting..heres how see Joker wrapping up the 2013 class.
WE are in very good shape to land Jeremy Benjamin..a stud LB that could come in and play immeadiately. I say its 60-40 against us of landing Skai Moore..the talented lb and prep teammate of Jalen Battle. I see us getting DeAngelo Yancey..and I want this kid bad...as well as his good friend..Darren Dowdell a TE/DE from Atlanta's Grady H.S.
Ryan Timmons has to be atop our board...we need to keep this kid at home. I like him much better than the higher rated James Quick. Timmons is faster, stronger...and just as big.
Maurice Swain, the 6'6 315lb jumbo DE from Lagrange's Troup county high would add size and strength at SSDE in the 3-4...I think we'll have to offer his teammate Ricky Frazier to get him, a 5'10 180lb cornerback...we need cb's, and Frazier could help on special teams and as a backup cb
Dajuan Drennon looked to be a lock for us a month ago..now the powers that are Texas, Bama, LSU, ect are coming in hard and it will be tough to land this kid..especially since his teammate Myles Nash verbaled to Rutgers...I see Greg Webb...the highly rated DT and Drennons teammate decomitting from Penn ST as the Death penalty hangs over the program..and the big schools will offer both...ID love to get both..but I'll settle for Drennon...kid can help at TE, LB, or Rush DE.
I think we have a solid shot at florida corner Boaz Joseph 6'1 190 4.38..we need corners, and one with this size and skill would be a huge get.
I think we may take both D'Andre "Chocolate" Wilson and Mykal Moody of South Carolina...Wilson is a 5'9 178 cb, Moody a 5'11 185 Randall Cobb clone...who plays qb/wr/rb/kr/db for his Conway team. Moody has heart and plays physical..much like our RCobb.. ON the O-Line , I see Kyle Meadows..a nice OT that reminds me so much of Darrian Miller, wears glasses, 6'6 270..smart, very long arms. I also think JOker may save a couple scholarships for late..waiting on a flip or surprise...(Jacob Hyde has been recruiting Hunter Bivin hard...and I hear Reon Dawson is still getting love from Uk, and hearing from his famous cousin..the best center to ever snap a football imo Oters Id like to get, but dont see us having the room for..Jonathan Howard..6'5 200 WR from Rochelle, Ga. Jonathan Cook, 6'1 190 CB from Spanish Fort, Ala, Corey Cooper 6'1 190 4.3 Wr from Raliegh, NC. Jaleel Hytchye CB 5'10 180 Cincy,

Patience, my eager football junkies!!! All will be well..when JD gets back from Bora Bora or wherever he went on Vacation. In the meantime..Myself, tWhit, and WildcatDawg22 can keep up busy im sure. Our recievers will be SO much better this year...not only just because the wr's will have better positional instaruction from Pat Washington...but we have Demarco Robinson ready to be our new Craig Yeast...Daryl Collins will get the tough, stick moving..take a hit and hold on catches...and Rashad Cunningham brings size and speed at 6'4 225 and 4.45 speed. RC ran a 10.8 100m in high school...thats insane for his size..hes probably faster now. Then you have AJ Legree (whom I absolutely love) and Demarcus Sweat coming in...lets not forget Bookie Cobbins and Jalen Whitlow too. Also..our wr's will be better because the timing will be there...and our running game will be better. When you have balance..you can pretty much pick and choose your spots to challenge a defense deep, I cant wait. Max Smith...going to a gaggle of speedy jitterbugs mixed with athletic long striders and tall, physical NFL bodied wr's. Running back will of course be by commitee..as is should be in the SEC. Clemons, Williams, Sanders, George...Mobley and Taylor waiting eagerly. DJ Warren will be much improved in his sophomore year. Ronnie Shields, Kendrick, Aumiller, and Tyler Robinson will factor in at TE. Cant forget the big uglies...Darrian Miller got just enough snaps last year to be prepared to play at a high clip this year..I say line up Warford beside him...the SEC's best guard no matter who says what. Matt Smith is a very good center. THen you have Zach West and Kevin Mitchell on the opposite side.. Teven Eatmon Nared needs to get his butt in gear.. we could use his size 6'7 335 and quickness at OT..or OG..he was a te in high school. John Gruenschlager is a 6'11 340lb massive pillar of size..I hope one of the frosh like TJ Jones, or Jordan Swindle can step in and overtake Mitchell..nothing against the kid..but with his size strength and quickness...Mitchell has never really pushed himself while at Uk.. Hes down from 320 to what..288? Thats not good news IMO unless hes gonna be a pulling tackle.(lol) JOrdan Watson, Zach Meyers, Trevino Woods add depth..and I look for Shaq Love to be a major piece of our O-line puzzle going forward.. a 6'5 300lb former DT has the nasty streak in him that all good O-Liemen have..hes gotta be tough o have ever projected as a DT..
I see Max Smith playing surprisingly well..he'll make some NFL throws..a lot of solid SEC throws..and a dozen or so bonehead true sophomore throws any 19yr old kid would make in the toughest conference in college football. I see 64% 3,200 28tds...7 ints or something like that.

I will say this much......reading your posts will make one think that UK has the biggest, strongest, fastest and toughest players in the SEC. LOL! I love your optimism; it certainly beats all of the fighting that has been on here the last 6 months.
The only thing I would recommend is this: Shorter, more concise paragraphs instead of a long streaming thought is easier to read and will get more responses. Also, change it up a bit instead of re-posting our entire roster, current commitments and who you think we'll get to finish up the class in each and every thread.
Just a couple of suggestions. I love the discussion, but its gotten to where when I see another long post with a synopsis of every player on our current roster, the incoming players and guys we hope to add in this class, I just scroll on down the page.
