If true, at least it happened after signing day.
I'm surprised by this. Tee was working for the Raiders organization when Kiffin was their head coach. Kiffin and Tee butted heads a bit over whether to draft Jamarcus Russell. Tee knew Russell from Mobile, and told Al Davis emphatically that it was a bad idea. Wouldn't have expected Tee to leave UK for Kiffin's staff. Saban, Les Miles, etc., not surprising at all. But Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron?

I'm still waiting for official word. . . Kind of strange that Matt Barkley is the only person to know about this or announce it at least so far. . . If it is true, it's very poor timing on his part IMO. . .

Tee has the one great thing that no other coach on UK's staff has- youth. Like it or not, he's the face of the program right now from a recruiting perspective. You think Coach Summers, Nord, ect.. are gonna be up all night talking with kids on facebook and twitter? LOL He's a rock star to many young kids in the South. Devastating loss for Joker if true.

I can't think of a time when they've ever let a signed recruit out of a commitment because an assistant coach left. I thought they were very strict about even doing it if the head coach left?
