'Let the names of Poythress, Harrow, Wiltjer, and Goodwin be stricken from every book and tablet, stricken from all pylons and obelisks , stricken from every monument of the Big Blue Nation! Let the names of Poythress, Harrow, Wiltjer, and Goodwin be unheard and unspoken , erased from the memory of the Big Blue Nation for all time!'
Its Payday. The problem here is that to many UK fans think of Uk basket ball as a religon and no one should compare this to The Greatest Story ever told.
Totally agree footballcat. I don't find any humor in comparing it. I think that is the problem with many fans, UK basketball is very much like a religion. Enough said.
its also one of the reason kentucky is the best college basketball program ever
Couple of things,
1). The post is titled humor.....after this season I think some is needed!
2). The greatest story ever told is about the Gospel and Christ!
3). This post is in reference to a creation by Hollywood regarding Pharoah's words! Sorry, nothing biblical about that!
Those players will be helping win us a title next year. So why would we forget their names?
Well, I thought it was funny, laughed out loud. We -UK Fans- take our selves too seriously.
It was a down year, and I'm ok with that. Titles are rare, I can enjoy 2012 for several years (even more so if 2 teams not mentioned don't hang one this year).
I really didn't expect too much from the beginning. Just didn't see where the scoring was going to come from. No knock-down shooter and the post game was undeveloped. Add to the fact that our numbers were down, no bench.
These guys are someone's son's and it is tough to play in the bright lights of Lexington.
I'll cheer for all the guys in blue.
But that doesn't mean I can't laugh at a funny post.
Here's to hanging an NIT banner.

Terrible post. By all accounts all of those kids are good kids. They represented the bbn very well off the court.
I'd welcome any of them back next year. Our expectations of true freshmen/first year players is a bit unreasonable.
I thought the greatest story ever told was the one about a Notre Dame football player and his fake girlfriend.

Now that's funny!!!! Good to have a sense of humor, maybe these other folks can go buy one at Walmart like Phil Robertson told his grandsons to go buy a personality!
