Your statement was right on Nate. What AD did may not be truly appreciated for years and year to come. FPOY, DPOY, NPOY, #1 Pick, NCAA MVP, National Champion and Gold Medalist all in the same year. Talent wise Wiggins may even be more prolific but he won't put together a season like that. I'm not sure anyone will for a long long time.

Nobody really talks about it but was it the greatest year a college basketball player has ever had? I'm having trouble thinking of somebody who's had better. Maybe Christian Laettner, but was he the #1 pick and did he win Defensive player of the year honors? I can't think of anybody past that. Some of you older guys will have to chime in.

Don't want to start a polemic here. I must have misread the comment I responded to. I believe the point was talent, not accomplishment.. I love AD but everything I've read about Wiggins suggests that he is POTENTIALLY the next Lebron. That's why I posed it as a question. Nate's response was on target. The others ...
