Looks good, but I can't imagine if he is as good as he looks on paper that he would make UK his first job. That is risking career suicide in my opinion. But I would at least like for the job to be offered to people like that. At least make them turn it down. You never know until you try.

You guys are hilarious. You bash barnhart on one hand before he makes the hire because you assume he won't get a big name coach. Then you say, "why would big name coach take the job, it sucks here"...

I am proposing to offer. I am not bashing Barnhart in any way. I say go after a big name coach and make them tell us no. Go back and re-read my post. And I say it may not be a good career move for him because if he doesn't turn it around in a few years, his head will be on the chopping block like Jokers is now. Question for him is does he want to stay at a winning/established program as assisant head coach or go out and become a HC and take on a team in the basement and see what he is make of it. If he makes it, it's a great career move, and if he doesn't he is out job hunting again. I am ALL in favor of putting out offers to the big name coaches. What do we have to lose?!?!
