For something like that to happen to a kid and yet all he's thinking about is his teammates and winning the game speaks volumes about what kind of kid he is IMO. Never seen anything like that.
Your sentiments are greatly appreciated by this Cards fan.
Cat fans, you all have earned our pgratitude. This shows that hatred for any school takes a back seat to real life issues. These coents are breath-taking.
I was there across from him at court level. It is a memory that will forever be seared into my memory.
We all just froze, then the realization hit in and thr tears started to flow. It felt as if we lost him out there.
You all are amazing people for your comments. Yes, this might be over-the-top but the memory is still fresh.

Cards fan here, just wanting to say thank you for being so classy. Your all comments, as well as calipari's, give me new respect for your program and its fans.
Anyone know of an article out there with quotes on what he was saying to the players and coaches while lying there? I saw him talking to them, but never saw any of the players or Pitino say what it was he was saying.
I live in Louisville and have some friends close to that program. He told them to go win the game. Pitino said at halftime that Ware is from ATL and that they needed to take it home for him.
I generally hate UL and hope they lose, but that young man has gained my respect. I hope they win it for him. Then we can talk all the crap we want when we win it for a second time in three years next year.
