Seems to me the UK staff is lying to about half these kids, telling them they'll play the "Randle Cobb type role". They're using that name to hell and back and gotta know it just ain't so. I don't like that!

I guess I don't agree with you. Its not like they have told every WR recruit (legree is an example) But they do tell everyone that fits the mold of a slash player (such as D Collins and Whitlow) and they should.

WTF are you talking about? We need more Randall Cobb's. That kid would have been an all-American CB if the staff had asked him to play D. He was just a great football player, that is why he was doing kickoff and punt returns, holding kicks, playing in the slot, playing on the edge, taking snaps at qb, holding the down marker, carrying the clipboard, and filling the water trays.
When you have a kid that has reached his level of success, you sell it as much as you can.

Every school has to put a face in the recruits mind. Who he would be replacing, what kind of roll the kid would have and how he could with hard work make it to the NFL.
