The rain gods did UK a favor IMHO. Or the beat down would have been worse.

For the life of me this game shows so much if you just watch it. UK has no SEC defense. The "strength" of this team was reported to be the DL. 49-7 is how good they are. All these hot shot recruits reported are no where near SEC quality and still people want to give this bunch another year. UK has no offense or defense when they have to play against any good prepared team.

UK's football program is going down faster than the Titanic sunk and no body seems to even care.

I am ashamed of the way this has been allowed to happen and IMHO, silence by Barnhart, only makes the situation worse.

Sorry double post

I've made no secret I wanted Joker to be the guy, I wanted him to do well enough to come back. It's all over now though, the fan base should be at peace. The group that wants him gone will get there way and the ones holding out hope for him have to see that ship has sailed. That's the one merciful thing to come from the shellacking tonight, I think about 90% of the fan base will be on the same page going forward. I feel really bad for the kids on the team tonight, this has to be a very difficult experience for them.

I honestly was worried about the players safety last night. Not from the lightning but from a preparation stand point. It honestly looked like a high school team vs. a college team. Something needs to change immediately.

I believe you are correct Shami. While there will still be a few (maybe literally) that believe Joker is still the right man for the job, I think that most people will finally start to realize he indeed is not.

Look, I think that a good majority of UK fans wanted Joker to do well. He's from here and he truly cares for this program. I don't think that people are questioning his desire for the program to succeed. It's not like Joker set out to win 1 game to this point in the season. Things happen, and unfortunately they have not been good at all.

Let's all remember too that things can change at the drop of a hat, so do not go assuming that Jokers fate has already been decided. Whether he is fired or not, it will not come before the end of the season. And lets not forget that everyone had fired Rich Brooks after a 49-0 loss at LSU. You remember what happened after that, right? I do not see any kind of turnaround in the future for this team but I also did not see it happening under Brooks. One of the main differences in the two however, is that Joker just seems lost, and a lot of times looks like he's in over his head. His teams contuinuously look unprepared and lets be honest, the talent level just is not there.

If things continue on this course and Georgia gives UK another butt kicking like most people assume will happen I believe the wheels will be set in motion. We will see.
