Boo Williams' nephew, from Hampton/Va Beach area. He's an incredible athlete, big time leaping ability. Nice range out to 3-point line, plus finishing ability. Will remind a lot of people of a young Rod Rhodes.

If I were to be completely honest Rhodes is still my all-time favorite. It destroyed me when he transferred.
It smells like microwaved homeless people in here.

We're going over to Louisville this weekend to watch him play and (hopefully) interview him again.
We talked to him a bit during the Peach Jam, but I think things have heated up even more since then.

What exactly happened to make Rhodes transfer? I was like 5 or 6 at the time, haha.

I kind of thought Pitino hurt Rhodes career by trying to make him a point guard.
Rhodes was forced out so Pitino could make room for Mercer.

Love Williams - very explosive. The Harrison Twins, Noel, Randle, Parker and possibly Walker are at the top of the 2013 heap. It will be interesting to see how gys like Troy, Kasey Hill, Anthony Barber, Malik Price-Martin, Jonathan Williams, Xavier Rathan-Hayes, Chris Thomas, Kuran Iverson, Derek Willis, Ishmail Waiwright, Isaiah Lewis, et al fit in the plans.

Here's an update I had on Williams from about 5 weeks ago where he first told me he'd be visiting UK. He'll also visit Louisville this weekend as well.

UK hosting another October visitor

Kentucky has already assembled a star-studded cast to attend Big Blue Madness, but the Wildcats will also play host to another elite level prospect days prior.

Jeff if I am not badly mistaken Rhodes problem started against Arkansas in the SEC Tourament when he missed a couple of foul shots. He had a complete melt down on the bench.

Started long before that. That was the culmination of pressure he had carried and abuse he had taken from Pitino to that point. He was the focal point for a lot of verbal abuse because he had so much raw talent. It was like we were watching a guy have a breakdown in front of us. Still sad to see if you ever watch the end of that ARK game again.
