UK Baseball #16

UK baseball goes from NR to #16 in Baseball America rankings. SCe falls 5 spots to #8. Florida is #1, Arkansas #3, LSU #11, Ole Miss #17, and UGa #18.

College baseball polls are so inconsistent, and there are a ton of them. I put the most precedence in Baseball America's poll, where UK just so happens to sit No. 16 this week. Baseball America covers the sport more than anyone else, and almost every other pollster (including coaches) gets his information and forms his opinions by reading BA. There are only two organizations that cover college baseball nationally (BA and Perfect Game), and since such few games are televised, that's what the other polls base their opinions on.

Add Texas A&M next season .. and there would be 8 of the 25 from SEC. Just as tough as football !!

The wins before SC were nice, but those were all games they should have won. Very weak competition. If they have a nice weekend against Tennessee—a low-tiered SEC team but still an SEC team—they'll move into the top 10.
