  • I wasn't blown away with his speed, considering he's 5-9 155. I doubt he has a solid offer.

  • If UK is going to offer a 5-9 155 kid they need to be on Henry Clay's doorstep. The Bell kid is legit.

  • This is the tape I watched. He doesn't really seem to give 100%.

  • He's right here in town. I saw him play once last year, and will probably catch the last game of the regular season. Small, but has a ton of "wiggle" to him. Plays for one of the better 6A programs in Tennessee, but plays against astoundingly bad competition for most of the year.

  • I've had season tickets for the DB games for several years. This kid has more "wiggle" than just about any I've seen. And he is really fast. They had to switch him to QB when the starter herniated a disc and was sidelined for the season. Promptly threw 2 bombs for TDs in the next game. I really didn't know he had that in him. Is averaging about 23 yards per carry, but they have 3 or 4 more guys avg near 10. They run that Georgia Tech offense. As JD said, the competition is pretty bad in most of their games. I think that may be a reason why Josh seems to think he wasn't going all out. They won their last 2 games 75-0 and 73-0. I am a little surprised he has an offer, they have another kid, a junior, Nick Sensabaugh that I would love for us to recruit. 6'1", 310 DL. A beast.

  • Foreman had 264 yards on 10 carries and accounted for 7 TD (4 rushing 3 passing) last night in a 70-18 win over Tennessee High of Bristol. FWIW, a guy at work who has a brother on the D-B staff said that Vandy & MTSU are also likely to offer. Also, while Foreman is playing against some really weak competition, it's probably no worse than the competition that Ryan Timmons is putting his numbers up against. In fact, I'd wager that D-B would probably give Franklin Co a pretty good thumping if they played. Back to Foreman, I saw him last year. A ton of wiggle, but pretty small. I'll see him again in a couple of weeks, and I'm interested to see if he's packed on any weight.

  • According to the paper, UNC is also recruiting him, not sure if they have offered. The competition last night was much better than the last 2 weeks. I am sure we are recruiting him as a WR or CB, he won't be a QB or RB in college. I think he has 2 punt returns and 2 KO returns for TDs this yr too. He does have nice as hands, I've seen him make a bunch of catches over the last few yrs, even though DB is a mostly run team.
