The way he comments about other schools needing to hurry if they want to be involved in his recruitment makes it sound like he isn't very sold on UK. This is awful late in the process to still be open to new schools getting involved.

UK is third on the list, with UM and UNC being 1 and 2. any school that comes along and shows interest will most move ahead of UK.
we are the fall back for sure.

Yeah, not so sure UK has gained ground here. More likely Ervilus is falling down to UK.
Either way, if he can play, sign him up. Is he a TE or a DE?

No doubt. The only way he ends up at UK is by default. I'll take it, though!!

He is the most SEC-like D-end prospect I've seen UK close with in a while. Would LOVE to see this happen.

His importance is even greater due to the issues with Ross' eligibility issues. This kid fits the mold to a T of what our defensive ends should look like and play like. Pleasssssse.....

Joker once said something like "we might not be some guy's #1 choice, but when they get here they end up bleeding blue."
Not a direct quote, but something similar. And I agree with that statement. Outside of someone who grew up in KY (like Towles) we are hardly ever going to be #1 choice for a kid in the South. But just get them on campus anyway possible and their feelings will quickly change.

Maybe not but it's a well known fact in recruiting that kids get "sold" on a program quite often when it gets close to signing day and their options start diminishing.
