UK hosting 4 Star LB this weekend

4 star LB Nick Dawson will be making an unofficial visit to UK this weekend. UK is poised to have it's biggest collection of talent on campus at one time in the Joker Phillips Era. We need some good weather.

Also, Alabama stud DE Jamychel Winston is saying he's down to Auburn, Miss St, UK, and UL. Decent chance he will be in Lexington this weekend.

IIRC, Dawson and Winston are thought to be UL leans.
Is it just me, or does it freak anyone else out to have a Nole rooting for UK?!

it's a little weird....kind of like when your friend brings someone to the poker game and they make a comment about how hot your friend's wife is. It's not wrong because they are friends, but it's weird for you.

The UofL sites never gave an update after Winston visit on June 6th, so that's usually a decent sign he is not as high on them as they would lead you to believe.
Dawson is originally from Da Ville I think. It won't shock me to hear he never made the trip.

Yes and Germone Hopper who is committed to Clemson, I believe UK had offered him as well.

Yeah we offered Germone early in the process, however I don't think he was that interested, hence the early commitment to Clemson. Anybody know what weekend Kedrick is supposed to visit?

I don't recall the exact date but it was after this weekend, possibly the weekend of the 24th?

Kedrick was scheduled to visit this weekend, the 17th. I'll track him down.

UK was the first offer for Dawson, but the last time I spoke with him, he was a bit miffed he hadn't heard more from the Cats.

I thought the same DA but he has stated in a couple of interviews after his commitment that he was still going to visit. And you are correct he had changed the date of his visit to the week after the 17th but I don't recall the exact date.

I am 99% sure that Kedrick will still visit UK. May not be this weekend, but he will. Getting Nick Dawson would be HUGE, but don't hold your breath.
