UK loses game, possibly Noel

Not an ortho doc, but I am doc. Watching the knee buckle inward, makes me think he has an unhappy triad consisting of ACL, MCL and medial collateral tear. Hope I'm wrong though. He would be out indefinitely.

Out for a very long time. how long would such a tragedy take to fully rehab and be on the court.

Saw the still photo over a Matt Jones' site. Nerlens is screwed. I hate that for him. He's a good kid.

Man i hope Nerlens is alright, as a Gator fan it sucked to see him get injured and hopefully he makes a full recovery and gets drafted No.1 overall.

At least a year maybe longer. Hope Im wrong but I will keep praying for him though.

Even if there are no torn ligaments with that (which there undoubtedly are), this is something that he will cause him to have to sit out some time for injury. That looks horrific.

This Gator and fan of everything SEC is praying for Noel, and that this is nothing serious. The injury looked sick, and made me sick as I watched it. He's an extremely classy and intelligent individual, and has been stated above didn't deserve this injury (not that anyone deserves an injury). Best of luck the rest of the season guys, and I'm looking forward to our next meeting. Hopefully this time around it's an injury free game.

Nerlens Noel is well-liked even among UofL fans, which I also am. Frankly, he is sort of a favorite among many of us. His attitude is extremely competitive, he has fabulous - unique, really - hands and a good feel for the game. His attitude is way up there. I visit here with regrets in hand and a prayer for this young guy who was the heart of your club.
His injury sounds like the same one Ellis Myles had, so far - ruptured patella tendon. Just remember Ellis came back and played brilliantly but it took 18 months. While I hope it is not that serious at all, there is no doubt he hurt himself pretty bad. We are all sorry for your misfortune............it happened to a great kid and fierce as hell competitor.

Louisville fan here, never posted on your site but I have to wish Nerlens a speedy recovery and I sincerely hope this doesn't impact his NBA future. He's a hell of a player and I can only hope that he gets back to that level sooner rather than later.
