UK unveils new football uniforms

  • So they've added a stripe to the blue helmets, added a white one, and put an all blue checkered pattern on the sleeve? That is Nike technology indeed. I'm pretty upset by this

  • I like them. . . I really didn't have too much of a problem with them the way they were before, other than the helmets were a little plain, and I'm good with the change to the helmet now. . . No complaints here. . . I personally think just the "K" looks stupid and out of the 80's.

  • Well I like the white helmet and the cleats....

    I just seen a tweet by Tee, has the word Wildcats always been wrote on the belt part of the pants right above the players ass?

    And if you follow MrSEC on tweeter we are getting ripped, by everyone on the comment part of his "CheckerBoardy" post

    But if the players like um, and we start winning that's all that really matters!

  • I think that they look pretty damn sweet ! I'm also glad we stay with the school colors and not dinge them up with gray and crap. Very impressed. NOW , lets win in the new duds

    I then tweeted Andre and said, "Hopefully that means busting some streaks and black uniforms"

    He replied back "Yessir"

    Take it for what it's worth but sounds like what we saw today isn't the only uniforms. For the record, his initial RT was in reply to someone asking about black uniforms and the 20 plus combos.

    I read all that too, Plus also read were "it was said" that Joker said we did have another uni but it would be for a "big" game and a players vote when and if they ware them!

    Also the more I look at them the better I like them, I think once they mix and match them, like someone did on HOB, they will look a lot better than they do Blue, on Blue, ON BLUE. GO BIG BLUE

  • I think the helmets and cleats are a definite upgrade, but Nike has done a very underwhelming job designing our basketball and football uniforms. I'd rather have a contest to let fans submit designs than to have NIke in charge.

    Giving you a +1 for that, that is a great idea.
    One step forward do you think maybe past, present, players would be able to put there two cents in on what they would like to ware, or would it possibly cause a divided locker room? You know like one player thanks oh they picked his idea over mine cause coach don't like me, things like that.

    I woke up this morning and I really like what they came up with...But I don't like the Blue checker board on the Blue jersey, and why can't NIKE match our Blue helmet to the Blue in the rest of our Uni's?
