The little things.....
**Roark drops an easy TD....
**McIntosh misses a chip shot.....that was brought about when Newton missed a wide open King in the end zone....
**Guy decides to try and knock a guy down instead of wrapping him up on 3rd down and forcing a CMU punt. Instead, they drive in for a TD......
That's a 14 point swing on three easy plays.....and a 20-6 halftime lead.....

I think the D has settled down. So, what will we see when we start the 2nd half with the ball?

We haven't looked as terrible as it seems. The D got bumrushed early but seems to be settling in, the offense hasn't been dismal, just missed 3 big opportunities (the TD drop by Bricks, newton throwing a terrible pass to miss King for an easy TD, and a shankar FG) we should be up 10 right now. I think we make the necessary adjustments at the half and look much better in the second half.
The O line looks better today (although Newton is still locking in on WRs and holding he ball too long, but throwing the ball much better IMO) the running game looks better (due to the O line looking better) but I still think Clemons needs more carries, and King looks much more focused and aggressive today. I still think we take this game over...at least I hope. Lol.

Missed FG doesn't bother me AS much, really bad angle.

Yeah I'm not nearly as displeased with today's effort as last week. Just little things we have to clean up, but alas when you're getting beat it's like death by a 1000 little cuts.

I've not seen anything that shows a sign of life within the ranks of players. They are going through the motions, folks. The mistakes are human, honestly, but I'm more worried by the lack of energy. I'm not in the stadium but on TV they look blah!

All good points, Tommy...but the should be's often separate the potentially good teams from the good teams and the good teams from the great teams. But I love your optimism!
