If Locke would have made that block, Newton would have walked in. Locke whiffed.

I know Chris-I was sitting in the 3rd row in that endzone on that side of the field-happened right in front of me. I was close enuff to almost make the block myself!frustrated

If what? We won didn't we. So tired of the negativity.

If.....If Locke makes that block against UT Woodson walks in, If Woodson hits a wide open Keenan Burton against UT in the end zone....If Chris Doering doesn't make a td catch on the last play of the game....If Chase Harp and Jacob Tamme don't fumble while UK is driving against UT....If Marty Moore falls down after intercepting a pass against Clemson....If Mark HIggs scores when UK had the ball first and goal on the 5....If LSU doesn't complete a hail mary....

That post wasn't made to be a negative comment....it was made to show years of frustration of what might have happened IF.

Horrible team calling game for ESPNU. Dan Hawkins on color. Pam something doing play-by-play.

The first thing I thought when I turned it to the U was "Cro magnon couple of the year."

  • I'll tell you what has to be more frustrating than anything for the team.....the weak showing of only 55k fans and the constant booing every time things didn't go exactly as hoped. I was watching on TV with my best friend who is a Bama alum, and it was embarrassing when he commented: "Isn't this KY's home opener? The entire upper deck is half empty" and when you could hear the fans booing over what was an otherwise quiet crowd nearly the entire game.

It is amazing to me how I turn on the AZ St game the other night and the entire crowd (standing room only) was in a crazed frenzy and then you turn on our game and compare it. Amazing...simply amazing. I know it was a "big game" for ASU, but damn....the entire place looked like a Rolling Stones concert, compared to our's where the crowd was about as into the game as you would see at a local Saturday night livestock auction. I know CWS can be a decent atmosphere during big games if we're playing well, but its sad how it takes that type of situation for the crowd to truly get into the game.

  • 55,000 on opening day, great weather, is more than a little mystifying to me. It looked like two major areas were empty, the upper right end of the Cooper Drive side which used to be student seating [is it still?] and the extreme upper left of Copper side which used to be tickets sold to visiting teams [is it still?]

As most of you know, I gave up my tickets a few years ago, but had I still had them, I would have been there, without question, rain or shine, regardless of the opponent's name.

  • Is it just me or does Dan Hawkins sound like Owen Wilson calling a football game? He cracks me up when he gets going cause I can just see Owen Wilson doing the talking.

I agree. The problem is... we have too many "livestock" as fans who can't get off their lard asses long enough to cheer. They were not booing.... they were saying "MOOOOO"
