UL Starter out for year

HUGE loss for UofL's passing attack.

True, he is a big loss. He was injured right before the bowl game last year, and the offense struggled without him. As far as timing goes though, they have been practicing without him since then, so it won't be such a shock to the Bridgewater not having him in the lineup.

So if his 2.4 GPA is correct then they have admitted someone with less than a 2.5 GPA who will now have to keep a 3.0 or higher to remain in the grad school or be dismissed. Now we know why UConn wouldn't let him into grad school.

I don't mean to drag down a kid, but does this sound like an exceptional student who should be in grad school.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but it almost sounds like UL is allowing him into grad school just so he can play football. Knowing full well it will be damned near impossible for him to attain the cumulative GPA of 3.0 to remain in the program once his football eligibility is done.

You don't think that's what this is all about, do you?
