    No our D could actually be better. Yes we lost two very important players and that will no doubt sting but we're pretty much better at every other spot on the field that we were last year and we played some damn good D towards the end of the year. 3X as good as the D we played against you guys. Our players finally starter to learn Minter's system. I would count on our D being better than it was last year when we played ya. No doubt the O will be head and shoulders better. A lot of you Loserville fans are missing the boat on our young talent at D. We've got young talented mixed with talented experience.

    I guess this question is answered. Just like I thought it would be. We had 314 yards at the half, didn't play our starters for the last 20 minutes of a 60 min game or it would have been real ugly.

    Oh yeah, the big guy in my sig pics didn't even play. That was our 2nd and 3rd string RB's that ran all over your "sposed to be SEC" D-line

    Yes it was. But I did preface by saying it COULD be better. Nobody knew whether it would be or not. And we could obviously still improve. I was hoping to see the D that play UGA and UT tough. Obviously we didn't get that. I'm not sure who to blame it on is the sad thing.

  • Guys, it was fun talking about the game for the past couple of weeks, we all had points to prove and of course there were a few outlandish stuff said. I saved some of the points to bring back up here. Hey, that's what rivals do! ;)

    That being said, your O-line gave the Louisville D problems. It won't surprise me if you guys get an upset or two this season. Best of luck the rest of the season.

    Our offensive line was in shambles with injuries from the last few weeks of camp until probably the Miss State game. Mike Summers has all but said that the 2012 version will be MUCH improved.
    There is no way Louisville is 17 points better than Kentucky. I think Louisville fans are forgetting that in two years under Strong the Cards have started very slow out of the gate before hitting their stride midseason.
    Not saying Kentucky is going to win, but they are very talented across the board although it is young in several areas, just as Louisville was last season. The final outcome of the game will most likely be by a touchdown or less.
    Regardless, Cardinal fans are setting themselves up for failure with these outlandish predictions of blowouts. The game will go down to the fourth qtr.

    here is what UL fans forget. UK had a terrible offense last year and you had your butts puckered in the last few minutes of the game.
    UK's offense will be much better this year. I also believe the secondary will be improved. The only thing I am worried about is the linebackers.

    UL will need to beat UK in the air if they wanna win, otherwise we will dominate the clock. Also, given our rush attempts, don't expect Smith to make many mistakes, UL will have to earn it in a conservative game. If they get impatient, and their youth shows, UK will frustrate them and go in there and take the cup back, mark my words...

    Truth being: UK exemplifies greatness and superiority...we are the better program and we set the standards. It's always been that way...and always will be. UK is King of the Bluegrass and UofL is the Pawn. UofL is nothing without UK. UofL needs UK to hep them gain recognition...UK doesn't need UofL for sh__ and don't have to rely on them for a damn thing. We are matched up annually to benefit the Cards only...it does nothing for UK. We agree to play with the peewee team only as a favor to little brother...out of the kindness of our Big Blue hearts. You guys should bow and give praise to anyone you meet wearing Wildcat attire...and thank them for making you relevant twice a year.

    I doubt if that 12 year old mini van will take you very far but try if you may. And one thing you do have in your favor, you will have to win SOMEDAY in basketball, no program can go 0 fer forever. Plus after you get beat in that BCS bowl, remember January always as the month that STRONG left the building to a better program. lol

    Your post is awful. The last paragraph is beyond awful.

    UK lost virtually no production off of it's offense and returns some guys from injury that struggled last year. UofL lost their leading rusher and 4/6 leading receivers. on defense UK lost 4 starters, but return guys who played tons of minutes. One could make a strong argument that there will be a significant upgrade in the defensive backfield because of the coaching change and finally having Moseley and Burden out of our program. We return our entire defensive line.

    To say UofL returns "more production" is factually incorrect.

    I can't believe I'm from the same City as you..... How wrong can one man look?

    I think the UK/WKU game will be a closer game than the UK/UofL game. I'd be worried about finishing third in the state this year in football not 1st!
