I'm not going to openly mock their recruiting efforts until Signing Day is officially over (they're in the final 2 of 4 big time Florida players). But you guys are right, as of today, they've haven't leveraged any of their on field success into recruiting wins. Very surprising IMO.

Yes. Accurate. I'm not sure what the argument is here. Louisville has a higher average per player rating this year than any other year on 24/7 Sports. If they had a full class with scholarships available, they'd be probably ranked 20-35 overall. If you think Hurtt cheated at Louisville, your certainly entitled to your opinion, but there are zero facts to back that up. Similar to Louisville fans thinking Cal cheats at UK...bad reputation, but zero facts to back that up at UK.
If you all are trying to bait me into bad mouthing your team, I'm not going to do it. Stoops has done a great job in his first recruiting season. Pulling Hatcher, Timmons, etc... are great starts to what most UK fans thing will be a big turnaround in the program. I'm not hating on that at all, and think both programs have a bright future.

UofL also got transfers in which affect team numbers and which also determined a limit in terms of position.
Even with Quick, their wide receiver core expanded with the additions of Benjamin and Milton - both highly-regraded 4 stars who don't count in this season's recruiting figures.
Same with TE Gerald Christian, transfer from Florida or the interesting Zeke Pike, who no one has the remotest idea of what he brings, lol.
I'd say they did OK, actually, but then I would.

Simply put, Strong and the Cards spit the bit in finishing up their recruiting class. With the most momentum on their side in program history (after beating UF), they didn't leverage it at all down the stretch. They were in on a lot of big time guys, but couldn't close a single one of them.
The story line in KY is a totally new coach and totally new staff at UK recruiting circles around the Sugar Bowl Champs in only 6 weeks times. Simply amazaing. Amazing.

I can honestly say that one thing I have enjoyed throughout this proces, the past 2 months with Coach Stoops, is that UL fans are acting as if they now care about recruiting. I live in Louisville, am around UL fans litereally everyday. I will say, they deserve the credit they got for this past season but one thing I have NEVER heard them talk about, other than landing Teddy B, is recruiting. But since Stoops has been killing it, they are now wanting to openly talk about their recruits. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy another part of the rivarly, but I find it entertaining that they seem to always be a step behind, as fans.
Also, they are acting like they could care less about Hatcher and Timmons. I have had numerous UL fans tell me they don't need either of these two. Hilarious to me.

What do you mean? Card fans touted these transfers as improving their class last year and now are attempting to use the same transfers this year to prove their class is actually better than all the recruiting services have opined.
Sort of like how Holliman was counted in two classes, and how De'Asian Richardson will likely be counted in two classes, provided he chooses UL after going to a prep school or JUCO.
I assume DeAndre Herron will be another two-counter when he eventually completes JUCO, should he choose to attend UL again.
