In most regular season SEC games, UK is not favored. When they (UK) wins, the opponents disinterestedness has reared it's ugly head , using logic suggested in this thread that supposedly applies to other programs.
Disinterestedness is an excuse that can be used at anytime. It's lame. It an excuse that reflects the inabiliy or unwillingness of the user to give credit where credit is due.
UF's hitting in the Sugar Bowl sure didn't imply any disinterest. The truth is UF was an undisciplined and unfocused team, headstrong without warrant, living the myth perpetuated by the SEC propaganda machine. UL took that game from the opening kickoff, rising time and time again to the challenge. Put Charlie Strong in charge of that Florida team and they would be a very different entity. It all comes from the leader of the program.
