Big fan of the all white look. Sharp.

I am a fan of the all white uni's, but I agree with the contrast and so blue helmets make the most sense.

Since it's a road game I'll guess white pants, white top, and blue helmet for contrast.

See, I'm the exact opposite. I think it gives it more of a classic look. I thought the lack of a white stripe, especially when worn with all blue unis, made it look high school-ish.

Same here, I like the stripe... Hell, I wish we would come out in the Old K helmet, or that helmet we wore against Ohio U. with the state on it, or change our helmet altogether to the Wildcat face logo (the kind of old school looking one) with a double blue or white stripe down the middle (white stripe for blue helmet, etc.).

Kentucky actually put the replica mini-helmets of those in everyone's chair in the press box that night. Still have it. That was a pretty strong look (including the Colts-like unis) for them,

I do wonder if they'll ever go black cleats again?

Yeah, I think they definitely need to go for a retro look if they ever look to do another alternate uni soon, it seems pretty unanimous that the fans would prefer that over the direction some other schools are going with the uni's... At least most the fans I am around, guess I cannot really speak for everyone..

Speaking of helmets, has anyone noticed the white helmet Thomas Chapman has in his twitter avi? White helmet with Blue stripe down middle but has thinner black stripes down either side of the blue and also has a black outline of the blue interlocking UK on the sides. Nothing drastic but I remember some, but not all, of the old Power K helmets were like that as well with the black trim.

Loved those unis -- blue jerseys seemed a little darker and more vibrant, and the white stripes on the shoulders, and just two blue stripes down the white pants. Just a plain, classic look. Sucks that UK laid an egg that night and we haven't seen those uniforms again. Would love it if UK ever went to that look again.

I was glad to see UK mix it up with the black alternates last year, but is anyone else scratching their head as to why Nike/UK didn't make the numbers blue (with a thick white outline)? Would look much better, IMO. The best black unis on any UK team I've seen are the baseball team's Sunday jeresey's. Lettering/numbers is in blue, outlined in white. Looks better than the rather drab white on black they've done for football and basketball.
