Bray has looked fair to good but he's had a couple of bad picks, one returned for a 99 yard score. Penalty was upheld and UT goes for it on 4th down and scores to tie the game.

yeah, I've been watching this game myself. I think the VU defense came to play in the 2nd half and has been different. However, they just gave up a score so I'm not positive that VU can hang on in a tight game.

Someone smarter than me has to answer this question...but the whistle clearly was heard on the reply and you can see the official marking the spot. I always thought a whistle stops the play...but could be wrong. Was hoping UT would have nothing to play for except the streak but now they have a bowl game to play for.

Don't expect UK to get any calls next week. With UT playing for bowl eligibility and the SEC in jeopardy of not filling its spots, every last call will go to the vols (not like they need it).

Essentially the officials made two bad decisions on that deal. It was a clear interception and the UT player's knee never touched the ground, so the whistle never should have been blown to begin with.

But since the whistle was blown the play should have stopped there and UT would have gotten the ball just like they normally should in an OT period. And the play should not have been reviewable other than to see if a whistle blew.

Instead the officials reviewed the entire play and declared there was no whistle (this was clearly wrong) and let the play stand. Obviously UT was likely to win anyway but the officials blew that play repeatedly.

That would put all three teams at 5-7 with UK ahead of UT by virtue of having 2 SEC wins.

The SEC East is abysmal this year. It's a shame UK couldn't put together better years this year and last. FL bowls were easy pickings.
