Either way, Pippin was given basically 1 year without jordan to succeed. I think, it's hard to tell whether he could or couldn't have done it. Wade had multiple year.

Pippin was a different sort of player than Wade. I would say that Pippin's game compares much more favorably with LBJ than Wade. And the comparison with Battier isn't Rodman but Horry and Horry is 10 times the player that Battier is.

As far as who is the more important player....I take Pippin over Wade when they're both in their prime, personally, unless their counterpart player is LBJ. In which case I choose Michael Jordan.
