It's official, has been reported by Coast2coasthoop, and a few other people are reporting it from "a source" regardless, this has been a long time waiting, I would hopefully look for Young to be a Wildcat soon. It's pretty much going to be a battle to see, do we get Troy Williams or James Young at this point though. Also Mike, he's #5 on ESPN right now.

Just know there are some academic concerns and Jones talked to his travel coach who said he's had it for a while.
I definitely don't believe that.
Not that Young isn't good enough or that UK shouldn't offer him, just not sure I'd put this piece of news in my back pocket just yet that's all.

That's exactly how i feel brocephus. As adamant as Young has been about waiting that offer (he's made no bones about listing UK as his leader and wanting to go there despite no offer) and Cal's superior communication with the BBN, it just seems like this would be much easier to get confirmation on from either Young or Cal.
Im not saying its not true. I hope like Hell it is, but it just seems weird.

Young missed the Team USA trials with a family emergency so perhaps he's been tied up with that.
Not that there aren't credible sources reporting on this. I'm just taking a bit of a wait and see approach.
