Wonder if anyone is at the USA game scouting players? The Biesel kid is a stud ILB from what i've read... No doubt playing with Hyde could help us. Man I hope Joker can land a stud ILBer...

ILB, Drennon, Timmons, Thomas, DT Washington (if he still has a offer), a Juco OT, big true "X" WR, TE and 1-lock down corner. That would put us around 17. I know we have 2 OT prospects already but I really think both of those kids will need time and we need help now. It would be nice if another Pierce Burton type Juco OT is out there and we can land him... I just hope something hasn't hurt our chances with Timmons...

I think you nailed it Todd. All the things you mentioned and then PLAYMAKERS X as many as you can get.

Agree on ILB. Think we need at least two big WR's. The combo DE/LB position isn't deep. A TE. Another OL. JUCO doesn't work for me unless he comes in Jan. with 3 to play 2 or 3, or if not till Fall 2013, needs to be 3/3. Rest?

Here is what I think UK has to get at the least (granted the current commitments stay with UK) and uncommited prospects UK has offered:
Center - Crowley
Running Back - Chestnut, Q. James, Levy, Longmire, J. Smith, Watkins, Wortham
Big WR - Jonathan Howard, Jonathan Rumph (JC), Yancey
Slot WR - Alls, Cooper, Moody, D.J. Taylor, K. Thomas, Timmons, D.J. Woods
TE - Batten, Dowdell, D. Edwards, Shaq Johnson, Weaver
Hybrid LB/DE - Drennon, Williston, Internicola, Dowdell
MLB - J. Benjamin, Kimbrough
FS - Mackensie Alexander, Battle, Cox (JC), Fluker (JC), Letman (JC), Logan
DT - Shortridge, Swain, David Washington

One from each of those spots would give UK 17 commitments. Then just plug in the best players that UK can get to fill up however many scholarships UK has left (whatever that number ends up being).

I would think that Myers or West are the center of the future. And we have a lot of OT prospects coming (Jones, Swindle, Toth) or verbally committed (Boynton, Day). I would rather see an OG bulldozer in the form of Warford as the last OL this year. I have my heart set on Maurice Swain as I think he would be better there in the future than DT, but it would be great to have his flexibility.

Other than that take one RB, playmakers at WR (Timmons, Thomas, Taylor or Moody), one or two TE, another DT (hopefully Washington), ILB, Rush LB (hopefully Drennon), and another S (probably Tandy) and CB.

Swain would be a jumbo DE according to his recruiting story.

I had Quinten James listed at RB; should have listed him at LB too.

From what I've read from other sites, I would add Jay Woods at defensive tackle. It seems like Kentucky has a good chance with him although they have tough competition, and he would be a great get to go along with Hyde.

I'll always take an elite DE or DT if they're out there. No room? No care. Find a way.

Thanks. I really hate to say I don't like or want kids but the kid that's projected at SAM that's 6'3 180# does not look like he has SEC athleticism. I'm sorry but he doesn't. I've understood every kid we have taken thus far but I do not understand that one. I really hope we have not offered. To me he looks more like a PWO.

Safety unless something changes. Kid could add weight but right now he will be a pure safety from what I've seen.
