I have seen both kids play on more then one occasion in person. I think that they are both very productive runners and both could be assets at UK. Wales gets his yard from the outside where Jude usually makes his living between the tackles. Speed and agility they are basically identical. I think that Jude gives you a back that will square the shoulders a little more and deliver the hit. If you took Jude off the Eastern Ky team he plays on and put him on a Louisville team his offer sheet would mirror Wales. Its really a shame geography plays such an issue at times.

It's always difficult to judge from a single set of timings. There are too many other factors that can skew the data .Those 11.08 and 11.11 times would correspond to a kid running 4.7 or higher in the 40. Both of those kids are better than that. I would estimate if you averaged the best days for each guy, Wales would be 4.5 and Jude 4.6ish. I'd also say Wales is quicker in and out of cuts, important to a back.
I think geography used to hinder some kids' recruitments, but not in this day and age. If you can play, they'll know about you.
