I will reserve judgment until we know where he was. This was no doubt a huge recruiting weekend with at least 2 players on campus at a big time need position (WR) who plan to make a decision this week.

Joker and most of the key coaches were on their coaching retreat this weekend at Old Stone in Bowling Green. These were unofficial visits that the coaches really have no control over scheduling.

Wishful thinking...Joker was at Happy Valley! One WR and two OL's that were starters at Penn State could give us 2 extra wins this year!!

Didn't we lose out on a WR recruit to PSU a few yrs ago? Was it the stud 4* from Delaware in Newton's class?

not sure where he was, but he can't make his schedule based on the whim of a 17 year old kid. my guess is he had a prior comitt that could not be resheduled. If these kids decide to come back for an official, I'm sure he'll be there with bells on.

Agreed. I remember people on here bashing John L Smith for being off campus when RyanTimmons' made an unofficial visit to arkansas last month. I guess this is more common than we thought.

I think that's it. If I am Joker, I would be set up just outside the gates at PSU with a booth and banner like its a job fair...."Who wants to play in the SEC?"

Joker DID in fact meet with some recruits this weekend in Lexington.

Anyone who's been on this board for a short period of time knows the OP has an agenda against Joker and Company. He'll make things up just to get everyone fired up. Pay no attention to him.

I read the following quote from one of the recruits on campus this weekend and simply asked "Where's Joker". Yup, that's an agenda all right.

"UK head coach Joker Phillips wasn't there during Cooper's visit, but he said the Cats' assistants told him Phillips would talk to him on the phone soon."

no attacks necessary. THIS guy didn't see Joker this weekend, he was 1 of how many guys we had this weekend on UNOFFICIAL visits?? Another saw him, so some did and some didn't. NON-Story if you ask me.
