this is just a testament to the decades of neglect shown by our administrators to ukfb. i can recall in the 80s going to coaching clinics annually at uk and learning that when the players showered, people flushing the toilets nearby had to yell to warn those in the shower that HOT water was coming their way!!!! i could not believe it, but it was and is true. who was the AD at that time? they finally corrected that when the Nutter center was built..... at least i hope so. Isnt that ridiculous. this game just shows how inconsequential uk fb is in the real world, and, as evidenced by my previous example, how woefully inept our athletic administration has been through these past 50+ years. this loss, i dont blame on the current staff. this performance is just a symptom of the underlying problems for uk fb. in fact i still believe that this staff is probably as good or better than any at uk in the past 50 years or so. How to fix this? Throw every dime you can at fball for the next 15 years and perhaps then it will turn. it took South Car. three top coaches and 100s of millions and about 20 years. we could do the same.
