*** Cincinnati Reds - Stick A Fork In 'Em August Edition ***

  • At least maybe we can talk about some of the young guys like Alonso, Frazier, Cozart, Mesaroco, etc., etc., while we live vicariously through the Brewers.

  • lol Sorry. Not rubbing salt in the wounds, although I should with your Card assaults, but that title is funny.

  • Quite possibly the most frustrating year of baseball I have ever watched. Since the all star break we have taken 2 of 3 from the Cards and Braves and swept the Giants. We have also been swept by the Mets in 4 games, lost 2 of 3 to the Pirates and 2 of 3 to the freaking AAA Astros. Nothing about this team makes any sense. Its time for Dusty to go, this team has more talent than any other team in the division yet we sit 7.5 games back 3 games under .500

I have a lot more thoughts I want to get out, but don't have the time right now but later this weekend I will be back to vent

  • Had plans to head to Wrigley this weekend to see the Reds.....but the Houston (errr. San Antonio) series drained out all enthusiasm I had for the trip.

Can just as easily sit here in front of my TV and watch the disfunction without dropping all that cash.

Think I made a sound decision.

Thank goodness you didn't go to Chicago. Wow. I couldn't imagine how mad I'd be if I went on the road to see them play that poorly.

Yep, best money I never spent by not going.

Friday was the Reds season in a nutshell., so I decided that was the last game I was going to watch this year on TV.

Saturday I just had to laugh at the incompetence as I vaguely listened to it on the radio as I was driving to fan day.

Yesterday, well I didnt even know the result of the game until this morning.

Now all that money goes toward a football roadtrip.....just have to decide between LSU and South Carolina

Been to both many times, do the decision will be tough.
